I don’t actually think I want to do all 99 anyway! Most of the American ones are a no-no for me as I have never been to America and have no particular desire to go (sorry to all my American readers – nothing personal you understand!) I’m sure The Blue Lagoon in Iceland, where I have swum, is better than The Great Salt Lake!
Do let me know if you put this on your blog or have any great ideas for my list (be sensible, I’m not as young as I was!)

I often think about making some kind of bucket list, but I thought this was a pretty good start!
Congrats on your 37! I haven’t done a number of the American ones myself and I am American. . . I do like the idea of making your own list, but don’t have any suggestions for you. Goodluck with it! =)
These lists are always exciting and inspiring as they encourage us to have a wider view of possibilities and opportunities than we are often aware of on a normal day of cooking, cleaning, shopping, washing, working, sleeping, etc.!
Perhaps the best way to come up with your own list is to imagine that you’ve been given 2 years to live (sorry, not a happy thought but generally a good one for focusing the mind!) and unlimited money, and work out what you would want to do before you died :-S Using other people’s lists are a good basis, but then add or substitute the things that excite you
I love these “33 Things Kids Should Do Before They’re 10″ – http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sky-News-Archive/Article/200806413381613?f=rss I understand you don’t fall in the target range of this anymore but it might get the creative juices flowing xx
I think my children did getting on for 30 of those so maybe I’m not such a bad parent after all!!
I must find some typically English ones to do then. How about ‘join a queue’ oh no, I already did that !
I have started compiling my list but it is pretty short so far, I didn’t realise it would be so difficult!
I’ve seen a few of these memes now and every time I go down the list and wonder if I missed something out that I’ve done. But no. I think holding a lamb is the most exciting!! You are definitely lucky swimming in the Great Barrier Reef – I bet that was totally wonderful.
CJ xx
It certainly was!
